ANU modelling informs debate on childcare reforms
Friday 4 March 2016
ANU Centre for Social Research and Methods' principal research fellow Ben Phillips has released distributional modelling of the Australian Government's proposed childcare reforms.
Early Childhood Australia, the peak body of childcare providers in Australia, commissioned the study, which found that more families would pay more for childcare under the new arrangements than Government figures have previously suggested.
The study has been mentioned in a range of media commentary on the proposed childcare reforms, including The Sydney Morning Herald and ABC News.
